Japanese castle in mixed media. This was one of my most ambitious projects. The castle itself is a lino cut print. The sky was done by placing bleeding tissue on the print and wetting it to create the colored sky. The rooftops and stone work were colored by hand with art markers. And the Landsacpe was created as a collage using handmade Japanese washi and tissue.

While I have the original block for printing the castle in various forms, this is a “one of” piece. There will be no more like it.

The price includes framing with double mat and shipping anywhere in the US.
