This linocut combines two separate projects I did. The wave background design was taken from the etched glass panels on our local are a bus stops.

The musashi print is a 5 block linocut print taken from a Kuniyoshi print from the Edo period in Japan.

I used a stencil knife to cut out the Musashi image and then glued it over the background print to create this piece.

There are currently two of these available. Additional prints may be done at a later date when another print run of the Musashi gets done. It takes almost two weeks to do a run due to drying time of the ink layers.

The price includes the mat and framing as well as shipping anywhere in the US.
