The kabuki actor is a five block color linocut. A stencil knife was used to cut the image out. It was then glued to the background.

The back ground was created by collaging many small pieces of handmade Japanese washi. You can see the fibers from the paper and the background has an amazing textured feel. The image seems to almost float on the surface.

The price includes the framing and shipping anywhere in the US. Overseas shipping will be more and a balance added to the price as it is double what US shipping charges are.
