Based on a Japanese mokuhanga (woodblock print) by Kuniyoshi who was famous for his samurai prints. He did a series which showed all 47 ronin plus a couple other characters from the famous Kabuki Play “Chushingura”.

This is a multi block print and I can print more which is reflected in the price. I have two in stock currently. Like most prints there are very small variations between them. The moon was hand colored after the print was made.
