This is a “one of” piece. It is what is called a “jigsaw print”. I printed both sides of the paper using a technique called “back printing”. I cut the “tomoe” out of the shina blocks with a scroll saw. I wired brushed them to get some texture, and I applied a bit of varnish to create more pattern to the printing. I assembled them the way I wished on a mylar sheet and stuck them on so they wouldn’t move. Then I printed them.
